The adsorption isotherms of N, and Ar at 77 and 90 K on a pyrolytic graphite produced by Union Carbide (U.S.A.) were studied. All the isotherms belong to type II of the IUPAC classification and both at 77 and 90 K neither the N2 nor the Ar isotherms present a crossing point. The specific surface are
