✦ Synopsis

Figure 5 Measured crosstalk power penalties of systems with and without preamplification for directly and externally modulated laser source studied. The experimental results show that optical preamplification for both types of light source modulation, apart from enhancing the receiver's sensitivity, does not improve the receiver tolerance toward homowavelength crosstalk. Moreover, additional penalty values due to crosstalk are quite higher than the values without optical preamplification.

## Abstract This article introduces a simple and efficient technique for generating the initial guess for iterative solutions of a large dense system of linear equations arising in the method‐of‐moments (MoM) formulation of electromagnetic (EM) problems. Force-based atomistic-continuum hybrid methods are the only known pointwise consistent methods for coupling a general atomistic model to a finite-element continuum model. For this reason, and due to their algorithmic simplicity, force-based coupling methods have become a popular class of atomistic-c

Most of the usual studies on a sound insulation system were introduced from the deterministic viewpoint in the frequency domain. This paper presents for the first time a fairly simplified identification method applicable to the actual situation of a sound insulation system under the introduction of
