This paper presents the effect of the interaction between the switch and the antenna parameters on the cross-polarization of a dual polarization switching antenna. It is shown that the isolated antenna cross-polarization combines with the isolation of the switch giving place to a degradation of the

In this paper, the design of a broadband dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna with excellent polarization purity is investigated theoretically and experimentally. Based on cavity-model theoretical analysis, a test dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna fed by double slot-coupled feeds with a 180

## Abstract The cross polarization characteristic of rectangular patch antennas exciting the TM~__01__~ mode is studied. After reviewing and extending the results for the case of edge fed by a microstrip line, simulated and measured results are presented for the coaxial‐fed rectangular patch antenn

## Abstract Using L‐probe patch antennas as elements, a dual‐polarized antenna array is designed and tested. The antenna is designed for operation at 900 MHz, and is built as a two‐element linear array with a coaxial feed. The feeding network is an air transmission line which is made of aluminum. A
