โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Using Lโprobe patch antennas as elements, a dualโpolarized antenna array is designed and tested. The antenna is designed for operation at 900 MHz, and is built as a twoโelement linear array with a coaxial feed. The feeding network is an air transmission line which is made of aluminum. An impedance bandwidth of 24% (SWR โค2) is obtained. The isolation is less than 25 dB across the passband, and an average gain of 10 dBi is achieved.โยฉ 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A new dual-polarized microstrip antenna array is presented. Diagonal feeding of the square patch with two ports is proposed to obtain dual linear polarization. A novel coplanar feedline network is also presented for the dual-polarized array. For engineering purposes, a CAD-oriented method of analysi
In this paper, the design of a broadband dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna with excellent polarization purity is investigated theoretically and experimentally. Based on cavity-model theoretical analysis, a test dual-polarized microstrip patch antenna fed by double slot-coupled feeds with a 180
