A message from the editor -January 2009 Readers, Once again, my year's review reveals continued growth and quality for ISA Transactions. I am very pleased, and appreciate the contributions of authors, reviewers, technical editors, ISA, and the publisher.
For the third consecutive year, the Impact Factor for ISA Transactions increased. We had a record number of submissions in 2008, over 150. Moreover, subscriptions have increased, especially for on-line subscribers. This good news is strengthened with the fact that the highest downloaded and highest cited papers reveal a variety of topics from measurement and control, and include both practicable theory and application demonstrations.
