β¦ Synopsis
A mathematical
model is proposed for the concentration fietd between two membranes in an electrodiaitysis dc~~i~~tio~ cell. A spacer tilts this space and the, flow and the concentration field are considered in the presence of this spacer and without the assumption of infinite mixing. An integral method is used to obtain a soiution, which is Jater shown to be a very good approximation near the membrane and a rather good approximation everywhere else. The form of this solution is relatively simpte, which makes it usefuf in further investigations.
