โฆ Synopsis
Only fluorimetric methods appear to be sensitive enough for the chemical determination of dopamine in tissues and body fluids. The ethylene diamine condensation method of WEIL- MALHERBE and BONE (1952, 1957) can be employed for this purpose, but the fact that the fluorophores of dopamine and adrenaline have almost the same fluorescence characteristics (KAGI, BURGER and GIGER This investigation was aided by grants from The Swedish Medical Research Council and from The Swedish Ciba, Ltd.
