## Abstract We describe the QoSโbased rerouting algorithm that is designed to implement a twoโphase interโswitch handoff scheme for wireless ATM networks. We propose to use path extension for each interโswitch handoff, and invoke path optimization when the handoff path exceeds the delay constraint
