Hydromagnesiation of alkylarylacetylenes 1 in diethyl ether gave (E)‐α‐arylvinyl Grignard reagents 2, which reacted with arylselenenyl bromides 3 in THF to afford stereoselectively (E)‐1,2‐disubstituted vinylic selenides
