It is interesting to read the paper by van Aardt and Visser (1), who observed that Portland cement-dolomitic aggregate autoclaved mortars deteriorated rapidly during storage in %5 Na2SO 4 solution at 5°C giving much thaumasite as the soft pulpy mass. Similar water-cured mortars expanded and cracked,
