Abstract
The reaction of aliphatic and aromatic aldehydes, aliphatic ketones, and cycloketones with hydrogen sulfide in anhydrous pyridine tiethylamine medium, provides a satisfactory method for preparation of alkyl, cycloalkyl, and aralkyl disulfides.
