✦ Synopsis
A rapid, one-pot synthesis of [isF]fluoromisonidazole (1H-l-(3-[isF]fluoro-2hydroxypropyl)-2-nitroimidazole) (1) starting from ['sF]fluoride and (2R)-(-)-glycidyl tosylate (2) is described. The total time required for the synthesis, the radiochemical yield, and purity of the titled compound are ca. 80 min, 20%, and >98%, respectively.
