Multiple studies demonstrate that manganese (Mn) exposure potentiates inflammatory mediator output from activated glia; this increased output is associated with enhanced mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK: p38, ERK and JNK) activity. We hypothesized that Mn activates MAPK by activating the kinas
