## Abstract BaFe~12–__x__~ (Mn~0.5~Co~0.5~Ti)~__x__ /2~O~19~ hexaferrites with __x__ = 1, 2 and 3 were prepared by a sol–gel process. The reaction temperature was much lower than that of the conventional ceramic method. The ferrite powders possess a hexagonal shape and are well separated from one a
