A new type of dual-port, dual-frequency SSFIP r PIFA antenna is described. Its main characteristics are a wide bandwidth at both frequencies, high isolation between ports, and simple construction, together with good radiation properties. As an example of application, a DECT q DCS 1800 r WLAN antenna has been realized, and is described in detail with measured data.
