โฆ Synopsis
This paper considers the special problems of making accurate capacity projections for cardiac pacemaker batteries. It describes a systematic approach for making accurate capacity projections in a reasonable time. A necessary set of definitions is developed and illustrated by examples based on Li/Is battery chemistry.

The rating of impact sound insulation on the basis of tapping machine measurements with the ISO re-['erence values has proved to be unsatisfactory in practice. This is mainly due to the differences in spectrum shape of tapping machine noise and real liJe impact noises, such as walking. The problem c
