The 3iP NMR spectrum of P&, in CS1 solution belongs to the AzX2 system (6 = 83.3 and 110.7 ppm respectively, downfield from D3P0,); this confirms the C\_ q,, symmetry of the free molecule. No P-S-P coupling is observed; this anomaly is discussed by comparison with related compounds.

Phosphorus-31 (31P) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic analyses of the crystalline lens from the experimental diabetic rat were performed. Qualitative and quantitative alterations in the phosphorus-31 NMR metabolic profile were observed over the course of 3 weeks after the induction of d

Temperature-dependent con formational transitions of deoxyoligonucleotides have been monitored by measuring 3 1 P chemical shifts, spin-lattice relaxation times ( T I ) , and :31P-IHI nuclear Overhauser enhancements (NOES). The measured NOE ranged from 30 to 80% compared to the theoretical maximum o
