โฆ Synopsis
In Japanese) A means of distillation to recover oils by thermal decomposition of raw materials containing plasticizers, halogen compounds and waste plastics is a feature of this apparatus.
Also included is a cooling means to separate decomposition products of plasticizers from a gas or a liquid obtained by the thermal decomposition.
The treatment method involves a process to gasify the raw materials by thermal decomposition, a process to cool the obtained gas into oils, and a process to separate decomposition products of the plasticizers by further cooling the oils. Fuel oils or high quality oils are recovered and it is simultaneously possible to achieve the separate recovery of phthalic anhydride as a decomposition product of a plasticizer.

efficiency; the former gave the similar oil yield to that with tetralin solvent, while the latter did the lower yield because of its too high hydrogen acceptability. The liquefaction scheme for the higher efficiency is discussed in terms of reaction conditions including catalysts and solvents.
