## Abstract In contrast to the findings in a recent study (R. P. Gullapalli, R. M. Hawk, R. A. Komoroski, Magn. Reson. Med. 20, 240 (1991), we found that, even at high hematocrits, the T~1~ values for extracellular ^7^Li were at least three times longer than those for intracellular Li^+^. We conclu
