โฆ Synopsis
We report bidirectional interleaved 8 wavelength DWDM/SCM transmission over 212 and 238 km of standard single-mode fiber in repeaterless and repeated system configurations. We demonstrate error-free transmission using electroabsorption modulated laser transmitters with 1.04 Gbps payload each in 35 6-MHz 64-QAM channels. ๏ฃฉ 2002 Elsevier Science (USA)
