โฆ Synopsis
Figure 3 Comparison of computed and reconstructed normalized ลฝ . ลฝ . electric field with SNR s 20 dB. a Real part, b imaginary part
with SNR s 20 dB have no significant difference with the computed results in the frequency band 1แ100 GHz, as shown in Figure 3. Therefore, the scattering model obtained from scattering data in the frequency band 1แ7 GHz provides a good representation of scattering field in the wide band 1แ100 GHz due to the modeling fidelity. This implies that we can predict scattering data beyond the data bandwidth with the use of the parametric scattering model from computed or measured scattering data.
CONCLUSION
Generally, although the f โฃ model has better fidelity than the Altes model or GTD-based model, the modeling procedure consumes more computer time because it searches the frequency-dependence parametrized by โฃ continuously. When the algorithm for extracting the parameters is very accurate, the f โฃ model can provide an accurate parsimonious presentation of the samples. Moreover, the scattering data can be extrapolated from the sampled frequency band to a wide range with the use of this model, yielding only a small square error.
