✦ Synopsis

The molecule of the title compound, C 17 H 13 F 3 O 3 , exists in the enol form and displays a strong intramolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bond. The trifluoromethyl group is disordered over two orientations in an approximate 2:1 ratio.
