✦ Synopsis

There are two crystallographically independent molecules of the title compound, C 14 H 14 O 2 , in the asymmetric unit. Intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonding between hydroxy groups occurs in the crystal structure, resulting in a supramolecular structure.
