✦ Synopsis
In the molecule of the title compound, C~19~H~18~N~6~O~10~, the 2,8-dimethoxy-4,10-dimethyl-1,3,7,9-tetranitro analogue of Tröger's base, the diazocine bridge imparts a twist such that the two aryl rings are offset with respect to one another. The hinge angle of the molecule, measured as the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings, is 103.64 (5)°.
