In the molecule of the title compound, C 15 H 12 Br 2 N 2 , the 2,8dibromo analogue of Tro ¨ger's base, the two aryl rings are offset with respect to one another by virtue of the diazocine bridge. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 94.45 (4) .
