✦ Synopsis

27A1 magic-angle-spinning (MAS) NMR spectra with and without cross-polarization and quadrupole nutation spectra with MAS of the molybdenum bronze Na02s (H20)yMoO3 intercalated with aluminium polyoxycations have been measured. Apart from the signal from 4-coordinated AI at 64.6 ppm assigned to the intercalated polyoxycations, there are three main signals from 6-coordinated AI: at 14.0 ppm, 0 ppm, and a very wide signal at ~ -50 to 20 ppm with a maximum close to 3¢Orf/2n in F~. We assign the signal at 0 ppm to AI(H20)63÷ ions, and discuss the possible origin of the other two signals.

## Abstract The reactions of Al^3+^ ion with glycine, picolinic acid, 1,2‐propylenediaminetetraacetic acid and triethylenetetra‐minehexaacetic acid (H~p~L) were studied by potentiometric and ^27^Al NMR methods, and the complex species in solution at different pH values were identified. Acidic hydro
