Das 1:l-Addukt (51 aus ( I b ) und 9-Cyan-Huoren ergibt beim Erhitzen das p-chinoide System(6) [IS), Fp = 219-220°C (Zers.), 81 Ausbeute; (61, Fp > 340°C. 38 % Ausbeute, Xmax (CH2Clr) 582 nm, c = 3,0.104]. ( 6 ) konnte nur mit einem mol CH3COOH als Kristallsolvat aus Eisessig/Acetanhydrid rein erhalten werden.
