This will be a general meeting of the Society but with major contributions from the following divisions:

(1) Electrochemical thermodynamics.

(2) Electrochemical kinetics.

(3) Experimental methods in electrochemistry.

(5) Corrosion.

(9) Bio-electrochemistry and membranes. (10) Electrochemical engineering. In addition, the meeting will include the following special symposia:

The structure of electrodes and cells. Fundamentals of electron and atom transfer. Scattering processes in solutions. Electrochemistry at high pressures.
