✦ Synopsis
The crystal structure of the title compound, C 14 H 14 N 2 S 8 , at 180 K contains pairs of molecules related by centres of inversion, arranged in a herringbone-type manner to form layers. NÁ Á Á*(S-C) interactions exist between layers.

The title compound, C~25~H~24~N~2~O~3~S~3~, was crystallized from a methanol–acetone mixture. The monoclinic structure features one molecule in the asymmetric unit. The crystal packing is stabilized by π stacking.
The centrosymmetric title compound, C 18 H 16 N 4 S 8 , has a planar structure, with the exception of the four cyanoethyl groups. The three-dimensional network is stabilized by a variety of SÁ Á ÁS and SÁ Á ÁC interactions.
In the title compound, C 16 H 26 N 2 O 3 S 3 , adjacent molecules are arranged in a head-to-tail manner and linked via weak C-HÁ Á ÁS interactions, forming helical chains parallel to the a axis. These chains are connected via C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions.
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C 7 H 10 O 2 S 5 , weak intermolecular SÁ Á ÁS interactions and strong intra-and intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture.
