✦ Synopsis

ÁNO 3 À , is a nitrate salt of the Schiff base 4-nitro-2-[2-(methylamino)ethyliminomethyl]phenol. The molecule adopts a trans configuration about the C N double bond. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.
