## Abstract ^17^O‐NMR spectra of benzofurazan oxide at room temperature show two resonance lines. This adds evidence to support the N‐oxide structure to be correct. The ^17^O spectra are dependent on temperature, due to an equilibration. The average lifetime of the tautomers is of the order of 10^−
