## Abstract An βanomalousβ variation of Ξ²βfluorine chemical shifts with respect to the inductive effect in the ^19^F NMR of a series of 1βhaloβFβadamantanes is reported. These fluorine chemical shifts are similar to the hydrogen chemical shift anomaly found in the corresponding hydrocarbon halides.

Metabolism of trifluorothymidine (TFT) and its transport across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) has been measured quantitatively in rats by fluorine-19 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy ( 19 F NMR). It is demonstrated that TFT crosses the BBB in micromolar quantities and is metabolized in brain
Fluorine-19M1HN nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) at 188.29 MHz, including 1H ] 19FM1HN crosspolarization (CP) with high-speed magic-angle spinning (MAS), was used to study some Γuoropolymers of the Viton type. The systems examined were (a) copolymers of vinylidene Γuoride and hexaΓuoropropene and (b
Ethidium bromide in a concentration range of 5.7 nM to 0.7 mM was determined amperometrically with an electrochemically activated glassy carbon electrode. From the relationship derived for the intercalation of EB to DNA and the equilibrated concentration of free ethidium bromide determined, the bind
