โฆ Synopsis
The ENDOR double resonance has been observed in a charcoal prepared by heating of saccharose to 400ยฐC. In the same charcoal the dynamic polarization of the protons has been measured, i.e. the enhancement of the intensity of nuclear resonance, the polarization time of the protons and their relaxation times. All these results are discussed and compared with theory.

The c-axis electrical resistivity of the stage-4 acceptor ZnQ graphite intercalated compound (GIG) has been measured in the temperature range (4.2-300)K. The obtained values are larger than those of Highly Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG). Evidence for a change in the observed metallic tendency at
## Abstract In this paper we derive a hierarchy of models for electrical conduction in a biological tissue, which is represented by a periodic array of period __ฮต__ of conducting phases surrounded by dielectric shells of thickness __ฮตฮท__ included in a conductive matrix. Such a hierarchy will be obt
We report the results of self-consistent band structure calculations for Li&, LiC,\*, and LiCls in idealized crystal structures representing first, second, and third stage intercalation compounds. Results for LiC,\* indicate that 90% of the net excess charge is localized in the region between the tw
