✦ Synopsis
The technique of pulsed nitrogen-proton double resonance in the rotating f?ame has been used to determine the electric field gradient (EFG) tensors at the t4N sites in paraelectric (NH&S04.
The results show that the NH:-ions are highly distorted and that there are two chemically nonequivalent sets of 14N sites in the unit cell: (e'qQ/h)r = 117 kHz, 'I~ = 0.64 and (.~'qQ/lh)~~ = equivalent NG-pairs. 91 kHz, TQ, = 0.67. Each of these two sets further contains two physiully non-Oouhle HMR 'H -"N
