## Abstract Für die 2. Ausgabe des Europäischen Arzneibuchs wird eine spezifische Identitätsprüfung für Etacrynsäure **(1)** vorgeschlagen, bei der die fluoreszierende Titelverbindung **7B** gebildet wird. Die Struktur von **7B** wird durch spektroskopische Methoden und die Bildung des 4‐Chlorchino
