Abstract
Für die 2. Ausgabe des Europäischen Arzneibuchs wird eine spezifische Identitätsprüfung für Etacrynsäure (1) vorgeschlagen, bei der die fluoreszierende Titelverbindung 7B gebildet wird. Die Struktur von 7B wird durch spektroskopische Methoden und die Bildung des 4‐Chlorchinolins 8 bewiesen.
