✦ Synopsis

The title compound, C 24 H 38 N 4 O 4 , was synthesized by the reaction of terephthalaldehyde and morpholine in ethanol. The N atoms of the four morpholine rings are bonded to benzyl C atoms, forming a centrosymmetric 1,4-bis(dimorpholinomethyl)benzene molecule.
