The carbon-13 chemical shifts of coordinated bidentate glycinato ligand were measured in a series of seventeen mixed Co(III) complexes. A characteristic effect of trans-ligand on the 13C chemical shifts of the methylene carbon of glycine was observed. The results obtained enable one to distinguish e
