13C NMR chemical shifts were measured in for Γuorocarbonyl compounds. Sulfonic DMSO-d 6 derivatives display 4J(C,F) coupling constants for carbonyl groups which are also obtained from non-sulfonic derivatives when they are recorded in acidic solution.
π SIMILAR VOLUMES
3 a ) and (3c) or (Sf) formed as minor products on reaction ( I ) with methyl acryiate or methyl propiolate were synthesized isomer-free from the diester (1') and characterized. The data for the compounds prepared are summarized in Table .
The 13C N M R spectra of eight biologically interesting benzofuranimidazoles were measured and assigned on the basis of 13C-l H (short-and long-range) correlated spectra
