✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The ^13^C NMR data of an appreciable number of cyclopropane derivatives have been collected. Most of the spectra were recorded by ourselvesand some were taken from the Literature. With a view to furthering the useof ^13^C NMR spectroscopy as a diagnostic tool in this field, we havemeasured not only the chemical shifts,δ, but also the coupling constants ^1^J(CH). It is shown that both embody valuable structural information.

## Abstract The ^13^C NMR spectra of several monocyclic γ‐sultones(1,2‐oxathiolane 2,2‐dioxides) and δ‐sultones(1,2‐oxathiane 2,2‐dioxides) have been determined and are presented herein. The chemical shifts of the ring carbons of these compounds are compared in terms of conformational, electronic a
o-Benzenediazonium carboxylates couple with methylene-active compounds to yield hydrazo derivatives with high purity. The 'H and 13C NMR data of eleven such products are presented and analysed. The predominance of the hydrazo over the azo form is consistent with accepted criteria. Furthermore, evide

A series of acetonides was obtained during the formal synthesis of deoxynojirimycin. The 1 H NMR spectra of these derivatives contain strongly coupled multiplets covering a chemical shift range of about 1 ppm. The spectra are severely complicated by second-order effects and were assigned by 2D NMR a
