## Abstract The ^13^C NMR spectra of some monoβ and geminal disubstituted protoadamantanes have been assigned with the aid of shift reagents.
The 'HNMR spectra of variously annulated methylfurocournarins are reported. The assignment of the chemical shifts for all the protons was achieved by using coupling constants, and shift effects induced by the introduction of methyl groups at various positions on the furocoumarin nucleus.
## Abstract ^13^C NMR spectra for a number of furanoflavones are presented and analysed. The effects of various substituents are discussed.
## Discussion 73Ge is an esoteric nucleus as far as NMR spectroscopy is concerned, chiefly because of its large quadrupolar moment, which tends to cause excessive broadening of signals, and there are many fewer reported data than for other Group IVB elements.' So far, to our knowledge, no attempt
