In the crystal structure of the title compound, C 9 H 7 N 3 O, the molecules are held together by C-HÁ Á ÁN and C-HÁ Á ÁO nonclassical hydrogen bonds. The dihedral angle between pyridine ring and pyrazine ring is 46.45 ( 14) .

There are two molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C 10 H 14 N 4 OS. Both the thiocarbonyl and carbonyl groups are cis with respect to the C-N thiourea bond. Both intra-and intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bonds stabilize the packing arrangement.
