The title compound, C 18 H 12 F 3 N 3 OS 2 , was synthesized by the reaction of [(Z)-1-phenylmethylidene]{5-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl}amine and mercaptoacetic acid. In the title compound, C 18 H 14 ClN 3 O 2 S 2 , the thiazolidine ring adopts an envelope conformation. There are intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions, forming centrosymmetric dimers.
