✦ Synopsis

グローバル化に伴い、世界各地の民族の様々な文化の均質化が進む中で、
とりわけ少数民族の文化・習慣・言葉は絶滅寸前になりつつあるが、
彼らは必死に自分たちのアイデンティティーを残そうとしている。

また日本人が日頃何気なく行っている習慣が他民族と異なることを知ることは、
自民族の文化・習慣を見つめ直すきっかけづくりにもなる。
本企画は、世界中の民族の魂(=個性・独自性)について、
フィールドワークによる学術的最新成果も盛り込みながら
中項目主義でまとめる民族百科事典です。
