π− decay width of

✦ Synopsis

We have measured the branching ratio of the r-mesonic weak decay and the weak decay lifetime of i2C with the use of the SKS spectrometer at KEK 12 GeV PS. The nmesonic decay width (I',-) was derived and compared with theoretical calculations. The measured I=-is consistent with the theoretical calculation including the distortion effect of the pion wave function.
