The doubly deprotonated (C 7 H 5 NO 2 ) groups in the title compound, [Nb 2 O(C 7 H 5 NO 2 ) 2 (C 2 H 5 O) 4 ], use the phenoxy O and imino N atoms to chelate to one Nb atom and the oximato O atom to bond to the other Nb atom; the two Nb atoms are six-coordinate in an octahedral geometry.
