✦ Synopsis

The /I-doubling transitions for the J= I .5 rotational level of the X 2n,,2 state of gas phase copper monoxide, 63Cu0, has been recorded using microwave-optical double resonance (MODR) techniques. The low-frequency microwave radiation was introduced into the sample via a tri-plate transmission line. Magnetic hyperfine structure is resolved and an improved set of ground state spectroscopic parameters were obtained.
