✦ Synopsis
Inelastic neutron scattering in a polymeric glass-forming gel probes a relaxation related to the b process observed by slow dielectric measurements. As observed previously for several liquids, this process splits from the structural relaxation around the critical temperature T , corresponding to a square-root singularity in the Debye-Waller factor.
