## Abstract ## Background Previously, in murine models of acid maltase deficiency (AMD), we demonstrated that intravenous administration of an improved adenovirus (Ad) vector encoding human acid alpha glucosidase (hGAA) resulted in liver transduction, followed by high‐level hepatocyte‐mediated sec
