Oktober 1984 Der Schwefelylidkomplex (CO)5Cr[CH2S(0)Me2] (3) reagiert mit 1,1,2-Tris(diphenylphosphino)ethan (4) zu dem neuartigen Tripodkomplex 8, dessen Kafigstruktur durch spektroskopische Daten sowie durch Rontgenbeugungsanalyse gesichert wurde. In diesem Komplex ist das Cr(C0)3-Fragment an ein Ylid-sowie an zwei Phosphanzentren gebunden.

Synthesis and Structure of a Novel Cage Compound Containing an Ylidic Tripod Ligand

The sulfur ylide complex (CO),Cr[CH2S(0)Me2] (3) reacts with 1,1,2-tris(diphenylphosphino)ethane (4) to yield the novel tripod complex 8, the cage structure of which is elucidated by spectroscopic data and X-ray structure analysis. The Cr(CO)3 fragment of this complex is connected to the ligand via an ylidic and two phosphane centers.
